Junior Chemical Engineer

Our client is seeking an ambitious and eager Junior Chemical Engineer to join their innovative team in Brighton . Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of chemical processes, including PFDs and P&IDs.
• Support pilot plant operations and scale-up studies, collecting and analyzing experimental data.
• Help identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
• Participate in process hazard assessments and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations under supervision.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various engineering projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong foundational knowledge of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS) is a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, eager to learn and contribute.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, combining on-site work in Brighton with remote tasks.
