Junior Chemical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the design and development of chemical processes and equipment.
• Support process optimization efforts by collecting and analyzing operational data.
• Conduct literature reviews and research for new process technologies.
• Prepare technical documentation, including reports, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams.
• Participate in process hazard reviews and safety assessments.
• Provide technical support for pilot plant operations and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience, internships, or co-op placements are highly valued.
• Basic understanding of chemical engineering principles and unit operations.
• Familiarity with process simulation software is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
