Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the design and development of new chemical processes and equipment.
• Support the optimisation of existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Conduct basic process calculations, simulations, and data analysis under supervision.
• Participate in site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Help prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Gain hands-on experience with plant operations and troubleshooting in a chemical manufacturing facility.

Requirements

• BEng or MEng degree in Chemical Engineering .
• Strong understanding of fundamental chemical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with process safety concepts and environmental regulations.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with simulation software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, eager to learn and contribute within the Belfast site.
