About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Junior Chemical Engineer to join their team in Brighton . This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in process design, development, and troubleshooting. You will support senior engineers on a variety of projects, contributing to the optimisation and innovation of chemical processes. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the design and development of chemical processes.
• Conduct experiments and data analysis to support process improvements.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Support pilot plant operations and troubleshooting of process issues.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety and environmental guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.

Requirements

• BEng or MEng degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of fundamental chemical engineering principles .
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an aptitude for learning new software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
