Junior Concept Artist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Concept Artist to join their dynamic team in Coventry . In this role, you will contribute to the visual development of exciting new projects, bringing imaginative worlds and characters to life through compelling artwork. You will work closely with senior artists and the art director, gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment. Key Responsibilities

• Create original concept art for characters, environments, props, and vehicles based on project briefs and art direction.
• Develop visual styles and moods that align with the overall project vision and narrative.
• Iterate on designs rapidly, incorporating feedback from the art team and directors.
• Contribute to mood boards and visual research to inspire and inform artistic direction.
• Assist in the creation of 2D assets and textures as needed for 3D asset integration.

Requirements

• A strong foundational understanding of drawing , perspective, color theory, and anatomy.
• Proficiency in digital art software such as Photoshop, Procreate, or Clip Studio Paint.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing a range of concept art styles and technical abilities.
• Passion for visual storytelling and world-building within the entertainment industry.
• Ability to take direction and collaborate effectively within a team structure, both in-office and remotely.
