Job Title: Junior Contracts Manager Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Location: Leatherhead

Job Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Contracts Manager to join a growing, family-run construction business specialising in insurance reinstatement and repair works.

The company delivers projects across both domestic and commercial properties, covering repairs following flooding, water ingress, fire damage and subsidence. Projects range from general refurbishment and decorating through to structural repairs.

This role would suit someone with existing construction experience who is looking to develop their career within Contracts Management. The business is open to candidates from a junior or developing background and will provide training and support to help the successful candidate progress.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience within construction, site management, project management or contracts management

• Good general construction knowledge

• Experience coordinating subcontractors and site teams

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities

• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Confident assessing the quality and progress of works

• Commercial awareness advantageous

• Full UK driving licence

• Willingness to learn and develop into a Contracts Manager role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple insurance repair and reinstatement projects

• Monitor projects from commencement through to completion

• Coordinate site teams and subcontractors

• Carry out site visits to assess quality and progress

• Ensure works are delivered to the required standards

• Identify and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle

• Liaise with clients, contractors and subcontractors

• Support projects involving flooding, water ingress, fire and subsidence repairs

• Work across refurbishment, decorating, kitchens, bathrooms and structural repair projects

• Work closely with the wider team to ensure projects are delivered effectively
