An established SaaS provider based in Bedfordshire is seeking an detail-oriented Junior Cyber Security Operations Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in cyber security within a software environment. KEY DUTIES
* Assist with monitoring user activity and security events across cloud-based platforms.
* Support the review of access permissions and user account controls to ensure appropriate system access.
* Help conduct routine security audits and compliance checks across internal systems.
* Assist with identifying and reporting potential security risks, vulnerabilities, and unusual activity.
* Support the maintenance of security documentation, policies, and operational procedures.
* Work with technical and customer-facing teams to promote security best practices throughout the business.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* A keen interest in cyber security, technology, and cloud-based software solutions.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes accurately.
* Good communication skills and confidence working with a variety of teams.
* An analytical mindset with an interest in investigating and solving problems.
