Role Overview
As a Junior Cyber Security Technician, you will support the monitoring, maintenance, and protection of company networks, systems, and digital assets. Working with experienced IT and cyber professionals, you will gain practical experience across cyber security operations, incident monitoring, risk management, and user awareness initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and assist with incident investigations.
- Support cyber security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Assist with maintaining cyber security policies and procedures.
- Help manage user access controls and account security.
- Monitor network and system activity for unusual behaviour.
- Support endpoint protection and security software management.
- Assist with cyber awareness training for employees.
- Maintain accurate documentation and security records.
- Work with IT and operational teams to identify and mitigate risks.
