Junior Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Engineer to join their innovative team based in Belfast . Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and drafting of electrical schematics and control systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support the testing and validation of electrical components and prototypes, documenting results accurately.
• Participate in site visits for project assessment and installation support, maintaining safety standards.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical issues, learning from experienced team members.
• Conduct research on new electrical technologies and components to support design innovation.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation and reports.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical principles, circuit design, and power systems.
• Familiarity with electrical CAD software or simulation tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work model.
