About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and aspiring Junior Graphic Design Apprentice to join their marketing and design team in Southampton . This role offers an excellent starting point for a career in visual communication, allowing you to develop your design skills under expert guidance. You will contribute to a variety of design projects, from digital graphics to print materials. This hybrid position allows you to collaborate in person with the design team in Southampton while also offering the flexibility of remote work for specific tasks. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional studio environment, working on real-world design challenges and building a strong portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating visual assets for digital and print media.
• Learn and apply design principles and software tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Support the team in developing brand-consistent graphics for various campaigns.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and design feedback discussions.
• Help prepare files for production and ensure design quality.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio showcasing creative flair and foundational design skills.
• Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Good understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, attending the Southampton office as required.
