About the Role

Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity for a creative and ambitious Junior Graphic Designer Apprentice to join their vibrant design studio in Leeds . This role is designed for individuals with a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for visual communication, looking to build a career in graphic design. You will gain hands-on experience in creating a wide range of visual assets, from digital graphics for social media to print materials for marketing campaigns. Working under the mentorship of senior designers, you will learn essential design principles, software proficiency, and client communication skills, blending in-office collaboration with remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conceptualizing and creating visually appealing graphics for digital and print media.
• Develop designs for social media posts, website banners, email newsletters, and marketing collateral.
• Work with established brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all materials.
• Gain proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
• Prepare final artwork files for print or digital distribution.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio showcasing creative design work (even personal projects are welcome).
• A demonstrable passion for graphic design and visual arts.
• Basic knowledge of design principles, color theory, and typography.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent, plus a demonstrable artistic flair.
