About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and aspiring Junior Graphic Designer Apprentice to join their marketing and creative team in Edinburgh . This role offers an incredible opportunity for a budding designer to hone their skills and learn the professional aspects of graphic design. You will work on a variety of design projects, from digital assets to print materials, under the guidance of experienced designers. If you have a passion for visual communication and a desire to build a career in design, this is the perfect starting point.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating visually appealing graphics for social media, websites, and marketing collateral.
• Support the design team in developing layouts for brochures, flyers, and presentations.
• Learn and apply brand guidelines consistently across all design outputs.
• Work with photo editing software to retouch images and create visual assets.
• Collaborate with team members on design concepts and project requirements.
• Prepare final artwork files for print or digital deployment.

Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing creative design skills (even personal projects are welcome).
• Basic understanding of design principles and a good eye for aesthetics.
• Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to take direction and feedback constructively.
• Enthusiasm for graphic design and a commitment to continuous learning.
