About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer Apprentice to join their marketing and design department in Glasgow . This apprenticeship is designed for individuals with a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for visual communication. You will support the design team in creating compelling visual assets for various platforms, including print and digital media. The role offers a blend of on-site creative collaboration and remote design work, providing a dynamic learning environment. You will contribute to enhancing our brand's visual identity and engage our audience through impactful design.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating visual concepts for marketing materials, social media, and website content.
• Use design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to produce high-quality graphics.
• Develop layouts for brochures, flyers, presentations, and other marketing collateral.
• Ensure brand consistency across all visual communications.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to understand design needs.
• Prepare final artwork files for print or digital production.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio showcasing creative design work (academic or personal projects).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Good understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to take direction and constructive feedback.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
