About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer Apprentice to join their vibrant design studio in Manchester . This is an excellent entry-level position for someone looking to hone their design skills and learn the ropes of professional graphic design within a creative agency setting. You will work on a variety of projects, supporting the senior design team with tasks ranging from initial concept development to final artwork preparation. This role is ideal for a budding designer who is passionate about visual communication and eager to gain practical experience in a collaborative, office-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating visual concepts for marketing materials, social media graphics, and digital advertisements.
- Prepare final artwork files for print and digital production, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Learn and apply brand guidelines across all design outputs.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to understand project requirements.
- Develop foundational skills in layout, typography, and color theory.
- Assist with photo editing and image manipulation tasks using design software.
Requirements
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative potential and design skills.
- Proficiency or willingness to quickly learn industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and visual composition.
- Good communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.
- Enthusiasm for graphic design and a desire to learn and grow.
- Must be able to work full-time from our Manchester office.
