About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Junior Graphic Designer to join their creative team in Stoke-on-Trent . This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with initial experience to develop their skills and contribute to a wide range of design projects. You will work under the guidance of senior designers, assisting in the creation of visual materials for marketing, web, and internal communications. You will gain invaluable experience in a supportive environment that encourages learning and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of graphic assets for digital and print marketing materials, including social media posts, website banners, brochures, and presentations.
• Support senior designers in developing visual concepts and layouts for various projects.
• Resize and adapt existing creative assets for different platforms and specifications.
• Help maintain brand consistency across all visual communications.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
• Prepare files for print production and digital deployment.

Requirements

• A degree or qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• A strong understanding of fundamental design principles, typography, and colour theory.
• A portfolio showcasing design projects (even academic ones) is required.
• Eagerness to learn and develop new design skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
