About the Role
Our client, a dynamic and growing law firm in Reading , is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Junior Lawyer to join their practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified solicitor or a lawyer with up to 3 years of post-qualification experience to gain hands-on experience across a range of legal disciplines. You will work closely with senior lawyers, providing essential support on complex cases and developing your legal expertise. The role is based in the office, fostering strong team collaboration and direct client interaction. We are committed to nurturing talent and providing a clear career path for our associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior lawyers in managing litigation, corporate, and commercial law matters.
- Conduct legal research, analyse case law, and prepare legal opinions.
- Draft legal documents, agreements, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Liaise with clients, courts, barristers, and other relevant parties.
- Review and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and organised.
- Participate in client meetings and assist with case strategy development.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate.
- 0-3 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm.
- Strong academic record and a passion for law.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work diligently and meet deadlines in a busy office environment.
