About the Role
Our client in Oxford is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Junior Legal Advisor to support their legal department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career legal professional to gain broad experience across various legal disciplines, including contract review, compliance, and dispute resolution, within the dynamic environment of Oxfordshire . You will work closely with senior legal staff, contributing to essential legal functions and developing your expertise in a supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the review and drafting of commercial contracts and agreements.
- Conduct legal research on various matters and prepare summaries for senior colleagues.
- Support compliance initiatives and help maintain regulatory documentation.
- Help manage legal correspondence and client communication.
- Assist with the preparation of legal documents for litigation and transactions.
- Gain exposure to intellectual property and data protection matters.
Requirements
- Law degree (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a legal support role (e.g., Paralegal, Legal Assistant) is advantageous.
- Strong foundational knowledge of contract law and legal principles.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
