About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Legal Executive to join their reputable legal practice in Edinburgh, Scotland . You will be involved in case preparation, client communication, and administrative tasks, contributing to the efficient operation of the firm. Key Responsibilities
- Assist solicitors with drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court filings.
- Manage client files, ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained and organized.
- Conduct preliminary legal research under the supervision of senior fee earners.
- Schedule client appointments, court dates, and manage solicitor diaries.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other third parties in a professional manner.
- Handle general administrative duties, including scanning, photocopying, and data entry.
Requirements
- Completion of a relevant legal qualification such as CILEX or an equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience working within a legal setting is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and basic legal procedures in Scotland.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and eagerness to learn new legal software.
