About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Process Development Engineer to join their dedicated team in Milton Keynes . You will support senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of new chemical processes and products. The role involves significant laboratory and pilot plant work, contributing to the innovation pipeline and ensuring the successful transition of new technologies into production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and execution of laboratory experiments to develop new chemical processes.
• Operate and monitor pilot plant equipment, collecting and analyzing process data.
• Support senior engineers in troubleshooting process issues and implementing solutions.
• Prepare experimental reports and contribute to technical documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process development projects.

Requirements

• BEng or MEng in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Foundational knowledge of chemical engineering principles.
• Experience with laboratory work or pilot plant operations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with data logging and analysis techniques.
