About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and analytical Junior Retail Buyer to join their dynamic merchandising team in Stoke-on-Trent . Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior buyers in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers for new products.
• Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify emerging trends and customer preferences.
• Support the planning and execution of product assortments for various retail channels.
• Manage product samples, order forms, and maintain accurate buying records.
• Monitor stock levels and provide input on reordering and markdown strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing and visual merchandising teams to ensure successful product launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A genuine interest in retail , fashion, and consumer trends is essential.
