We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing business based in Burgess Hill, looking for a Junior Sales & Business Development Executive to join their hungry & energetic sales team.  This is an entry-level opportunity where personality, attitude and ambition are more important than previous sales experience.

You’ll receive full training and work closely with an experienced Sales Executive and wider new business team, learning how to prospect, qualify opportunities, have commercial conversations and develop new business.

The Role

You’ll initially focus on outbound sales and new business development, including:

Researching potential customers and identifying key decision-makers Making outbound calls and opening conversations with prospective customers Qualifying opportunities and booking appointments for the sales team Following up leads and conversations Keeping CRM records and activity up to date Working towards agreed activity and performance targets Using digital tools and AI to support your research and sales activity The Person:

Is confident picking up the phone and talking to new people Is proactive and doesn’t wait to be told what to do Has resilience and tenacity when things don’t go your way Enjoys having targets and being able to see the results of your own efforts Is naturally curious and good at building rapport Is comfortable with technology and digital systems Is organised and follows things through Is coachable, ambitious and genuinely hungry to develop What’s in it for you?
