Junior School Teaching Assistant: pupil support & safeguarding

St Peter's School York is seeking an outstanding Junior School Teaching Assistant on a fixed-term basis to cover two terms, ending Easter 2027. The role supports pupils in accessing learning, under the direction of the class teacher, within a 35-week year and a 37-hour week including a 30-minute unpaid break.

Core hours are 08:15–16:00 with potential earlier/later starts and duties before/after school to total weekly hours. Salary ranges from £21,578 to £23,798 pa, dependent on experience.
