About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Telecoms Engineer to join their growing team in Leeds . You will assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunications systems, working under the guidance of experienced engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and setup of telecommunications hardware and software, following established procedures.
• Perform routine network checks and monitoring to identify and report potential issues.
• Support senior engineers in troubleshooting network problems and implementing basic fixes.
• Maintain accurate records of network configurations, equipment inventory, and service requests.
• Learn and apply company standards for network documentation and best practices.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills.

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of telecommunications concepts and basic networking principles.
• A degree or HND in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic hardware installation and cabling techniques.
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills in a practical setting.
