Junior Telecoms Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Telecoms Engineer to join their expanding technical team in Bradford . This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with foundational knowledge in telecommunications who is eager to learn and grow. You will assist senior engineers in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our clients' network infrastructure. This role offers an excellent stepping stone into the telecoms industry, providing hands-on experience and professional development within a supportive team environment in West Yorkshire, based out of Bradford .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and configuration of telecommunications equipment under the guidance of senior staff.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics on network hardware and software.
• Support the maintenance and repair of existing network infrastructure.
• Help in conducting site surveys and documenting network changes.
• Learn and apply company standards and best practices for network deployment and support.
• Respond to service requests and provide first-level technical assistance.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of telecommunications principles and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with common networking hardware and software is a plus.
• Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills in the telecoms sector.
