Junior Telecoms Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and eager Junior Telecoms Engineer to join their supportive team, working remotely with occasional travel to their Brighton office. You will be involved in various aspects of network support, installation, and maintenance, contributing to the smooth operation of our client's infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with the installation and configuration of telecommunications equipment .
• Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting for network and service issues.
• Monitor network performance and report any anomalies or potential problems.
• Help maintain accurate network documentation and records.
• Participate in testing new equipment and software updates.
• Learn and adhere to industry best practices for network operation and security.

Requirements

• A degree or HND in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Telecommunications.
• A strong foundational understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).
• Enthusiasm for telecommunications technology and a willingness to learn.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and as part of a team.
