About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and technically curious Junior Web Developer Apprentice to join their innovative team in Birmingham . This apprenticeship offers a fantastic entry point into the tech industry, providing comprehensive training in front-end and back-end development. You will work closely with senior developers on exciting projects, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of web applications. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for coding, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to build a successful career in software development, working from our central Birmingham office.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coding, testing, and debugging web applications under the guidance of senior developers.
• Learn and implement front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Gain exposure to back-end languages and frameworks to support application development.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving user experience and functionality.
• Help maintain and document existing codebases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Passion for web development and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts.
• Good problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A keen eye for design and user interface principles.
