About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic client relationships within the Reading area. This pivotal role involves understanding the complex needs of major clients, delivering tailored solutions, and ensuring long-term partnerships and revenue growth. You will act as the primary point of contact for these key accounts, fostering loyalty and driving business expansion. This position requires a strong blend of commercial acumen and exceptional client relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of key accounts , ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue and growth opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling relevant products and services.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all client inquiries, issues, and requests.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client support.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance and future needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Key Account Management or a similar client-facing sales role.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and exceeding targets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of client relationship management principles and practices.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment , balancing remote collaboration with in-person client meetings.
• Experience within the specific industry of our client is advantageous.
