About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Key Account Manager to join their growing team, working remotely to cover the Cambridge region. This pivotal role focuses on nurturing and expanding relationships with the company's most valuable clients. You will be responsible for understanding their business objectives, identifying opportunities to add value, and ensuring they receive exceptional service and support. This position demands a proactive approach, strong business acumen, and the ability to thrive in an autonomous, remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key clients to drive growth and retention.
- Serve as the primary liaison between key clients and internal departments, ensuring seamless communication.
- Proactively identify client needs and propose solutions that align with their business goals and our client's offerings.
- Negotiate contract renewals and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to increase account value.
- Monitor client satisfaction and address any concerns promptly and effectively.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to provide strategic insights to clients and the company.
Requirements
- Proven track record in key account management , sales, or a similar client-facing role.
- Demonstrated success in managing large, complex client accounts and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, effectively delivered remotely.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand client business objectives.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing workload independently in a remote setting .
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
