Part‑Time Key Stage 1 Teacher – Chester

Daily rate: Main Pay Scale (M1–M3) pro‑rated for successful candidates: £168.80–£232.56 per day. Supply rates for unsuccessful or supply applicants: £120–£160 per day.

We are seeking an enthusiastic primary practitioner who wants to make a flexible and impactful contribution in a supportive school environment. This part‑time position offers the chance to lead engaging Key Stage 1 lessons while enjoying teaching flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high‑quality, child‑centred lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Support early reading, phonics, and numeracy progression in a highly collaborative environment.
• Foster high expectations and a positive classroom culture in an inclusive primary school.
• Work alongside dedicated teaching assistants and staff to raise pupil attainment and progress.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience as a Key Stage 1 teacher.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and a commitment to child‑centred learning.
• A proactive dedication to continuous professional development and ongoing education and training.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to process one through Academics).
