Salary: £12.75 - £13.75 per hour (depending on experience) | Bank - Zero hour contract

We make health happen. Our kitchen team delivers person‑centred care. We are looking for a passionate Kitchen Assistant to deliver an excellent dining experience for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents
• Assist the chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys and keep preparation areas clean and tidy
• Monitor stock rotation, comply with company policies and mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines
• Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties

Qualifications

A passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Deliver excellent service at each meal and make our residents feel at home. Comfortable communicating with kitchen and care home teams, cherishing moments with residents.
