Kitchen Assistant / Pot Wash
Location: Herne Bay, Kent Start Date: Wednesday 2 September Temporary basis for 3-4 weeks Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-1:30pm Break: 30-minute unpaid lunch break Pay: £12.71 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant / Pot Wash to support a busy education setting kitchen on a temporary basis.
This is a role ideal for someone who comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Washing pots, pans and kitchen equipment Operating the dishwasher Clearing down and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy Carrying out general kitchen cleaning duties Supporting the kitchen team with general tasks as required There may occasionally be some basic food preparation, although this is not expected to be a regular part of the roleWorking Hours
Monday to Friday 7:00am-1:30pm 30-minute unpaid lunch breakRequirements
Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment Sensible, anti-slip shoes/trainers are required for this role Dark clothing to be worn The school will provide an apron and can also provide a hairnet/hat.If you're available from Wednesday 2 September and interested, please get in touch today.
