You will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitised and ready for use. Key Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and sanitise all kitchen equipment, utensils, and crockery to impeccable standards.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen, including floors, surfaces, and waste disposal areas.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as required, such as peeling vegetables or washing produce.
• Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and organisation of stock.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efficiently and according to health and safety guidelines.
• Support the kitchen team by ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar cleaning role is advantageous but not essential.
• A strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures in a food service setting.
