Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, ensuring they are clean and sanitised.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen, including floors, surfaces, and equipment.
• Dispose of waste and recycling correctly according to established procedures.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients.
• Ensure all cleaning chemicals are used and stored safely and correctly.
• Support the kitchen team by ensuring necessary supplies are stocked and organised.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy items.
