About the Role
Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support their busy catering operations in Stoke-on-Trent . In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored appropriately. You will work closely with the chefs and kitchen team, providing essential support to ensure smooth service. Key Responsibilities
- Wash and clean all dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment thoroughly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen environment, including floors, surfaces, and equipment.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as required, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients.
- Manage waste disposal and ensure recycling procedures are followed correctly.
- Receive and store deliveries of food and supplies according to established procedures.
