Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, cutlery, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including floors, surfaces, and storage areas.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables, washing produce, and portioning ingredients.
• Dispose of waste and recycling correctly according to established procedures.
• Ensure the kitchen environment adheres to strict health and safety regulations.
• Support the kitchen team by managing stock levels of cleaning supplies and reporting any shortages.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar cleaning role is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and hygienically in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy items.
