Job Description
- Location: London (3 days onsite per week)
- Duration/Type: Contract
What you'll be doing:
- Leading enterprise API governance strategy, standards, and lifecycle management
- Designing, implementing, and administering Kong API Gateway (traffic management, routing, plugins)
- Defining API security controls (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, MTLS)
- Working closely with enterprise architects, security teams, and integration/middleware teams
- Establishing API monitoring, KPIs, and governance dashboards
What we're looking for:
- Strong hands-on Kong API Gateway experience (Enterprise or OSS)
- Solid grasp of REST, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API security standards
- Cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP), CI/CD, DevOps
