KS2 Teacher - Newport

Academics, a specialist education recruitment agency, is looking for an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a well-established primary school in Newport from September.

The school has a strong sense of community and provides a supportive environment where staff work collaboratively to help pupils achieve their best.

This opportunity is suitable for experienced teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) looking to develop their career within a supportive school setting.

The Role:

• Teach and take responsibility for a KS2 class
• Plan and deliver engaging, purposeful lessons
• Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs
• Maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessment
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Primary school teaching experience
• Understanding of the Curriculum for Wales
• Strong classroom management skills
• Education Workforce Council registration
• Two recent professional references
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
