KS2 Teacher – Darlington

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports pupil progress and achievement.
• Establish strong relationships with colleagues, pupils, and parents.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners within the classroom.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to ensure all children reach their full potential.
• Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all pupils.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour management and classroom organisation.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Sound knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Passionate about education and delivering high-quality learning experiences.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A flexible, positive, and proactive approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
