Job Description
Overview
KS2 Teaching Assistant role at Stockport, full-time, long-term, immediate start. Support pupils across Key Stage 2 in a welcoming primary school with a strong community ethos.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils' academic progress in KS2 and deliver targeted interventions.
- Work closely with class teachers to implement lessons and learning activities.
- Help create a positive, engaging learning environment and support positive behaviour management.
Qualifications
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
- Recent experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 2.
- Good understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and reliable approach to supporting teaching and learning.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
