Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English language lessons for Key Stages 3 and 5.
• Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through varied activities.
• Assess student work, providing constructive feedback to promote progress and attainment.
• Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and literary appreciation.
• Contribute to the wider English department's initiatives and school-wide educational objectives.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English Language at Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 5.
• Strong subject knowledge of English language and literature.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate secondary school students.
