Job Description
As a KS3 SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet individual learning needs.
- Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support pupils with a range of SEN needs, encouraging both academic and personal development.
- Work closely with support staff, senior leaders, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for learners.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support student progress
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
- Has experience teaching KS3 pupils.
- Has a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Is adaptable, patient, and committed to making a positive impact.
Experience supporting pupils with behavioural needs is highly advantageous.

Lancashire Teaching Agency is currently recruiting for a dedicated full-time SEN Secondary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in the Chorley area. The position is to start as soon as possible, and will continue up until at least Christmas, but could be longer.
