Support Young People Through a Crucial Stage of Their Education

We're looking for a KS4 Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 support to young people across the BCP area.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll support learners studying at Key Stage 4 who require alternative educational provision. Many students benefit from tailored support to help them build confidence, improve engagement, and work towards their GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.

This is an excellent opportunity for tutors who enjoy helping learners overcome barriers to education and achieve their full potential through personalised support.

Hours: Flexible

Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour

Type: 1:1 Tuition

Requirements

Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles Experience supporting learners at KS4 level Strong subject knowledge in one or more curriculum areas Ability to deliver engaging and personalised sessions Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable Strong communication and relationship-building skills Patient, adaptable, and positive approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally across the BCP area
