About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests and analyses according to established protocols.
• Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions required for experiments.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring its proper functioning.
• Record experimental data accurately and meticulously in laboratory notebooks and databases.
• Assist scientists and researchers with experimental design and execution.
• Ensure adherence to all laboratory safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Requirements

• A relevant scientific qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, BSc) in a science-related field.
• Previous experience working as a Laboratory Technician or in a similar scientific support role.
• Proficiency in standard laboratory techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a laboratory environment is essential.
