Job Description
General Labourer, Construction & Steel, Temp, Glasgow
Benefits
* Monday to Thursday: 8:00am–4:30pm
* Friday: 8:00am–3:30pm
* 30-minute unpaid lunch break
* Approximately 85% site-based in Glasgow
* Approximately 15% workshop-based in Holytown
* Varied, hands-on work within a busy construction environment
* Opportunity to gain further experience working alongside skilled trades
Responsibilities
* Assist skilled trades and site teams with general labouring duties
* Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe
* Move and position steel and materials around site
* Use basic hand tools, including tightening bolts and fixings
* Load, unload and organise materials when required
* Support tradespeople with day-to-day tasks
* Follow site health and safety procedures at all times
* Assist with general duties within the workshop when required
Requirements
* CSCS card is essential
* Previous construction or steel erecting experience is desirable
* Practical, reliable and willing to work as part of a team
* Comfortable with physical, manual work
* Able to follow instructions and work safely
* A full driving licence is desirable
* Must have reliable transport or a suitable means of getting to the Holytown workshop when required
* Good attitude and strong work ethic are essential

* UK Driving License (required)
