Laser Operator

We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and fabricate metal parts according to specifications.

• Responsibilities*

• Set up and operate laser cutting machines

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

• Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal parts as required

• Perform tooling changes and adjustments

• Inspect finished products for quality assurance

• Maintain a clean and organised work area

• Utilise hand tools for grinding and finishing tasks

• Experience*

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Mechanical knowledge with experience in sheet metal work

• Proficiency in using hand tools for various tasks

• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations

• Previous experience in laser cutting operations is desirable but not essential
