LCV Technician / Van Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician
Location: Highbridge
Salary: £19.23 per hour | Approx. £47,000 per year (including alternate Saturday overtime)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm
Overtime: Every other Saturday (half day) paid at 1.5x
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

LCV Technician / Van Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician
Are you an experienced LCV Technician , Van Technician , or Light Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for a permanent day shift role in Highbridge ?
We are recruiting for a skilled LCV Technician to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Van Technician , Light Commercial Vehicle Technician , or Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for competitive earnings, regular overtime and a great work-life balance.
Working within a busy workshop environment, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of light commercial vehicles to a high standard, ensuring vehicles remain safe, reliable and compliant.
Key Responsibilities of an LCV Technician
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults
- Complete inspections, preventative maintenance and defect repairs
- Carry out MOT preparation and safety checks
- Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation
- Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
Skills and Experience Required
Essential
- Previous experience as an LCV Technician , Van Technician , or Light Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Experience working on commercial vans and light vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Level 3 Light Vehicle or LCV Maintenance qualification
- Experience with fleet vehicles or main dealer environments
- Diagnostic experience
