About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Lead AI Research Scientist to join their cutting-edge AI division based in Aberdeen, Scotland . You will be instrumental in driving forward research into next-generation artificial intelligence technologies, focusing on areas such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AI researchers and data scientists in designing and implementing advanced AI models.
• Conduct original research in areas including, but not limited to, machine learning algorithms , neural networks, and predictive analytics .
• Develop and deploy scalable AI solutions for complex business problems, ensuring robust performance and ethical considerations.
• Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals, representing the company's technical leadership.
• Collaborate with product development teams to translate research breakthroughs into market-ready features and products.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in AI research and development, with a proven track record of impactful contributions.
• Expertise in Python , R, and common AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Deep understanding of theoretical concepts in machine learning, statistical modeling, and computational linguistics .
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and large-scale data processing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
