Lead Analyst - Payment Operations Risk

Job Description

Wise is a global technology company focused on moving and managing money.

Collaborate with senior stakeholders and communicate insights to drive change.
Identify potential risks, analyze their impact, and propose metrics to monitor and manage them.
Own and track key metrics and results for the organization, ensuring accountability each quarter.
Work with auditors, risk partners, and stakeholders to test the effectiveness of existing controls and communicate findings.
Prevent financial losses and maintain compliance through early identification of data trends.
Build and maintain data pipelines, prepare reports, create visualisations, and deliver presentations that expose data in actionable ways.

Experience with SQL and building data pipelines; dbt experience preferred.
Strong quantitative skills; background in statistics, math, engineering, or related fields.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate insights into persuasive narratives.
Capability to structure business problems independently and prioritise collaboratively.
Proactive mindset – go beyond analysis to deliver outcomes.
Experience with data visualisation tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau) and storytelling with data.
