Lead Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking an inspirational Lead Architect to spearhead innovative design projects within their busy studio in Coventry . You will be responsible for guiding design teams, developing architectural concepts, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong understanding of design principles, technical execution, and client management, who can foster a creative and collaborative atmosphere, blending in-office synergy with effective remote communication to drive excellence in architectural practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor architectural design teams, fostering a culture of creativity and high performance.
• Develop and present innovative architectural concepts and design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee the technical development of projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and adherence to budget.
• Manage client relationships, consultations, and project communications effectively.
• Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and local authorities to achieve project objectives.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Architecture (RIBA Part III or equivalent).
• Significant experience (8+ years) in architectural design and project leadership.
• Expertise in BIM software (e.g., Revit) and a strong design portfolio.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex architectural projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
