About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished and creative Lead Architect to spearhead design innovation for a variety of exciting projects based in Oxford . This senior position involves leading design teams, developing architectural concepts, and ensuring the successful execution of projects from initial brief to final completion. You will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and planning authorities to deliver outstanding architectural solutions that meet aesthetic, functional, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptual design and development of architectural projects, translating client visions into compelling designs.
• Manage and mentor junior architectural staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing design team.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements and approvals are met.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and presentations.

Requirements

• A recognised architectural qualification and professional registration (e.g., RIBA, ARB).
• Substantial experience as a Lead Architect or Senior Architect, with a portfolio showcasing a range of project types and scales.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and visualisation tools.
• Strong understanding of building regulations, construction methods, and project management principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
